House of Lords Chamber Debate

BACK TO NEWS & EVENTS
Article

Through established links with the English Speaking Union, The Dearne ALC was privileged to be one of just a handful of schools from across the UK to be invited to Westminster to participate in the annual House of Lords Chamber debate. The theme of the debate was free speech. Mr Hope and Miss Clegg took fourteen Year 11 students on the trip, using the opportunity to also visit the Natural History Museum and gain experience of the hustle and bustle of travelling around on the tube.
